5 Tips to Retain Your Jewelry Customers

In this video, I share five tips for retaining all the new customers you get from your amazing holiday marketing efforts. The holiday season is an excellent time to focus on customer acquisition efforts because consumers are in the mindset to shop – and they’re often looking for unique gift ideas from brands they may not have known before. You’ll hopefully attract a lot of new customers throughout the holidays.

However, the trick is to keep these customers and inspire them to return again and again. In general, it can cost five times as much to acquire a new customer than to retain a new customer. If you want to make the most of your marketing spend, then retaining customers is the key to success. Keep watching for my five top tips.

Interview With Benjamin Smithee, CEO of The Smithee Group

In this episode, I share my interview with Benjamin Smithee. He’s the CEO of The Smithee Group, a Digital Growth Agency that’s been empowering entrepreneurs and businesses to dream bigger and achieve multi-generational integrity since 2015. He’s consulted some of the largest and most well-known companies around the globe including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Comcast, Disney, and hundreds of small businesses.

Ben’s an Advisor for the Black in Jewelry Coalition, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Jewelry Association, as well as Gem Legacy, which supports the artisanal mining communities in East Africa with education, training, childcare, healthcare, and business opportunities.

I first met Ben at this year’s JCK Las Vegas, but his glowing reputation definitely preceded him. Ben and I were on a panel together titled “The Fringe of Marketing” along with past podcast guests Jen Cullen Williams and Shayne McCoy Hollander. Ben has spoken to audiences around the world in more than 20 countries, across 6 continents and now he’s speaking on this podcast – and I’m very excited about it. Watch now.

Interview With Tracy Matthews, Author of “The Desired Brand Effect”

In this episode of the podcast, I share my SECOND interview with Tracy Matthews, who previously joined me on episode #77. Not only does Tracy run a successful jewelry brand, but she’s also the Chief Visionary Officer of Flourish & Thrive Academy, which helps other jewelry business owners launch, grow, and scale profitable businesses. She’s the host of the top-rated Thrive by Design Podcast and NOW Tracy is also a published author – her book “The Desired Brand Effect: Stand Out in a Saturated Marketing With a Timeless Jewelry Brand” will officially be available to purchase on November 9th, just a few days after this episode gets published.

I had the amazing opportunity to get an early press copy of the book, and I just finished reading it last week. I have to say, I’m super impressed! As a writer and author myself, I know how seriously difficult it is to write and publish a book. The Desired Brand Effect took Tracy about two years to write and took an amazing amount of effort from both her team and community to get the book in print. I’m super excited for Tracy and hope you’ll also get a copy of her book, which jewelry designer Jennifer Dawes says “is like a Masters Program for your jewelry business.” Watch now.
